Beyond scaling Kerrobert North and South blocks, Proton expects to explore other commercialization options, including owning and operating other sites, partnering with other companies, and licensing its technology to third parties.
Canada Site #1
- Site acquired in 2017.
- Sufficient hydrocarbon resources expected to produce 1,000 tonnes per day of clean hydrogen, for 25 years.
Proton operates where we can gain controlling interest to the appropriate reservoirs and have sufficient regulatory, environmental, technical and production expertise to produce clear hydrogen.
Energy infrastructure such as oilfields (at varying recovery points), wells, roads, or powerlines, exist in abundance. While these investments have been centered around carbon-intensive systems, Proton can help to realign them with clean energy goals.
In the future, Proton expects to have onshore and offshore partnerships in both Canada and in the North Sea countries
